Cancer Diagnosis Must Read: RADICAL REMISSION: SURVIVING CANCER AGAINST ALL ODDS

I can honesty say that this book here, Radical Remission: Surviving Cancer Against All Odds, by Dr. Kelly A. Turner, has drastically changed my life. Given an “incurable” diagnosis, I sought remedies and alternative solutions to facilitate in overcoming my circumstances. A dear friend and mentor of mine recommended this book to me, and it has forever changed my thoughts regarding cancer or any dis-ease for that matter. This book offers an abundance of info and really emphasizes the significance of the mind/body connection. Most importantly, it provides inspiration and hope for those who are deemed “incurable” by traditional medical standards. It’s also written in such a way that it doesn’t feel like academic reading. It’s super personable and relatable which makes it an easy and intruiging read… I couldn’t put it down!

Dr Kelly A. Turner Ph.D, took a special interest in Integrative Oncology and traveled the world interviewing holistic healers and cancer survivors about their healing techniques and her book summarizes all of her findings. She has interviewed more than 1000 cases of people who have experienced “spontaneous remission,” which by medical definition means that “a person experiences unexpected improvement or cure from a disease that appears to be progressing in its severity.” Pretty phenomenal stuff! This information led me to believe that if there are literally thousands of people “surviving cancer against all odds,” then survival is more than possible! This concept really shifted my thinking and opened up my mind to a whole other realm of possibilities and eventually, redirected my path of self-healing.

In conjunction with the book, there is also a website called The Radical Remission Project, which is a continuation of Dr Turner’s research, where people can find or share their healing stories. The site is beyond encouraging and stories are added continually which means more and more people are beating cancer!

I really can’t say enough about this book but can only urge you to read it if you or a loved one is facing a cancer diagnosis. I’m actually in the process of rereading to be re-encouraged. I promise you, it’s a game-changer!
